Even the most experienced boater will be impressed with the way she handles all types of water conditions. We love the Island Express because of the ability to drive right up to nearly any beach in the San Juan Island. This enables Anacortes Kayak Tours to take their guests to places that no other kayaking outfitter can go. The 24 knot cruising speed of the Island Express gets you to your kayaking destination comfortably and quickly. Imitators have tried to replicate this trip, but the best anyone has come up with is a long and expensive boat ride, with a short kayak trip mixed in. Not even close to the experience that this Outer Islands trip offers.
